The Summit on Music Intelligence (SOMI) will take place at Central Conservatory of Music (CCoM) on October 22--24, 2021. SOMI is co-hosted by CCoM and Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) this year. World-renowned experts and scholars in Music AI, as well as leading specialists in related fields and entrepreneurs in the music industry will participate in this event. where like-minded individuals will share their ideas and perspectives on exploring the world of future music. The purpose is to promote the cooperation between Music AI industries and academia, and to further integrate research and applications in Music AI, which will not only serve the interests of the city of Beijing but also be one part of our national strategy, and meanwhile boost international collaboration in the future.
Conference activities include opening ceremony and symphony concert, SOMI N-Forum, and global music technology pitch demostration. Attendees of SOMI are from celebrated academic institutions as well as music technology companies, including, but not limited to, Tsinghua University, Peking University, Fudan University, Stanford University, Carnegie Mellon University, McGill University, Queens Mary University of London, Georgia Institute of Technology, University of Rochester, Univerisity of Ilinois Urbana-Champaign, Huawei, Tencent and Microsoft.
